ROCKA FM is South Africa’s premier online radio station based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The station launched in August 2021. ROCKA FM aims to connect with a mature audience internally referred to as “The Grown & Sexy”. 

Our music mix mainly focuses on Soul, R&B, and Smooth Jazz, sprinkled with a dash of classic Hip Hop, Kwaito, House, and Amapiano! ROCKA FM is all about those warm, fuzzy vibes— because every song is like a time capsule filled with sweet memories.

Our identity is inspired by the local term “Rocka”, meaning “You’ve got the vibe”. The station’s slogan, “For The Love Of Great Music,” reflects our deep passion for music. We share this love with our listeners through a selection of timeless, ‘rare’ tunes that are simply outstanding, all day long. 

While weekdays are filled with uninterrupted musical bliss, you can catch our presenters live in studio, every Saturdays and Sundays from 07H00 to 21H00. And don’t worry, we’re cooking up plans to bring more live fun to weekdays days too!
